Features Continued: As you can see from some of the other pictures, there are for 5 ¼ in drive bays. One of these drive bays is already occupied by the Hardcano 9 that can easily be removed with the ez-remove drive rails. There are many 3 ½ in drive bays as well, there are 6 internal and 2 external 3 ½ in drive bays.
There is also a gate at the top of the tower that has, 2 USB ports, 1 fierwire port, MIC port and a headphone port. You get all the cables to hook these ports up properly to your motherboard. *note, these ports are optional and don't need to be connected. This is a nice feature when your computer is on the floor, and your speakers don't have a headphones jack. This allows you to easily get sound to you headphones. It also makes it nice, when your gaming and you have your game pad, or just have an external device such as a digital camera, flash storage device and many more things. This is really a nice feature of this case. You can also shut it, to ensure no dirt or dust ect. gets inside your case and ports.

Many people may be wondering about the power supply that is included with the case. The power supply is already installed, so you won't have to do it. Many of you may be wondering, hmm. Is 420W really enough? Well, if this power supply can run, 4 hard drives, 11 fans, 2 cold cathode lights, a temperature monitor, a video card “that requires at least a 300 W power supply” and 1 DVD drive, and 1 cd-rw drive. Then I think it will suite your needs. The above is what I used to test the power supply for weaknesses. But the only difference in the test above and my system now is I only have one massive hard drive instead of 4 hard drives. This is also a very quit power supply, it is so quiet that you can't even hear it with your ear next to it. I feel that Thermaltake has really included a nice power supply with this case. Click Hear to view a .pdf file of this particular power supply. |

Overall: this product ROCKS! This is one of the nicest all around cases I have seen. This case has a sturdy designs and looks great too. When it comes to functionality and value, this is the case to buy. A few things I think could be better. The PCI card clips really aren't useful, and can cause more difficulty but are easily removed, and you can just use screws. Also, I would like to see longer cables for the control center at top with your audio, USB and firewire ports. If you're trying to hide your wires, and your motherboard has the connections for these at the bottom of the case, you're out of luck. Overall, this is a kickass product. |
